The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Help me to remember, dear Lord, when I wonder why You do not answer my prayers that the answer is “no”. May I accept Your answer graciously.
O Lord, You have brought me to this new day and further opportunity. Help me to work with You so that it may be a good day with good things done.
O Lord, I know that You are aware and care about each problem I will face today. With Your guidance I will do my best to resolve those problems.
Amen!
Thoughts for today
Do not face the day until you have faced God.
If you are always dwelling on trouble, change your address.
No one can be wrong with man and right with God.
