In my congregation’s Adult Sunday School class, we are studying from the book of Hebrews. One of my favorite verses has always been Hebrews 11:1–Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
This year, in great and small ways, my faith has been tested; and time and time again, I keep referring back to this verse, because many things have happened that my human eyes have not seen, and yet, I know that they occurred because of the faith I had that God would work things out in my life. I never know how God is going to come through for me, I just trust that He’s going to come through; and He has never let me down!!
Although life may take you through the fire at times, remember that you have the ultimate firefighter as your Lord and Savior. Continue to trust Him and have faith!!
